We use a yard stick to measure (front view of jeans/pants, back view of tops/sweater) the garment laid flat. We then double the measurement in the item specifics. Laid flat would give us a 30 measurement.
For trousers, shorts and skirts, we measure the waist and hip from end-to-end. And seam-to-seam for the front rise and inseam.
For tops and sweaters, we measure the chest/bust from pit-to-pit, and the length from end-to end. The shoulder and sleeve are measured from seam-to seam. The measurements are provided in the photos. Follow the order specified for each category below.JEANS/PANTS: Begin with the waist, followed by the hip, rise, inseam. SHORTS: Waist, hip, rise, inseam.
